KVAL Model
CS-100 Jamb Assembly Casing Miter Saw. This
saw is designed to miter the end of prefit
jambs after they have been completely
stitched together. The operator places the
jamb face down onto an adjustable guide shoe
infeed table. The infeed table is adjustable
from 3-1/2” to 7” by turning an adjustment
screw. The jamb is moved into the sawing
area where the index stop hits the dado edge
of the jamb. When the operator presses the
foot switch, the clamp holds the jamb and
the saws cycle in and out. Once the saw
carriages have retracted and hit the safety
limit switches, the clamp releases.
The two saws are 3450 RPM, 3HP, 220 or 440
volt, 3PH units. Each is adjustable for
depth of cut and jamb width. The entire saw
carriage adjusts for a 45-degree cut and can
be moved up or down two degrees. Saw blades
are 10” with 3/4” bore. This machine also
requires a 1/4” air line hookup for the
clamping and saw movements.
