KVAL's Model 888 Edge-Mount Bi-Fold Machine is equipped with three stationary screw heads for attaching bi-fold edge mounted hinges. Hinge loading is external to the respective heads, which shift under each head from alternating left and right side manual loading. The pair of doors are loaded back-to-back, clamped, and raised with a foot switch. The sequence will automatically begin, drilling holes for the end hardware and applying screws. The screw head operation can either be set for a pre-drill or a standard function. After completion of the cycle, the pair of doors are automatically released and dropped onto a conveyer belt located on the rear of the machine. The cycle time is 15 seconds.
