The Alliance System functions as a single door machine with multiple stations controlled from a central console. Integrated KVAL software tracks each door as it progresses, automatically setting up the next station just as the door arrives.  This allows the Alliance to machine five different doors for five different specifications simultaneously; no setup time is required between doors. Average productivity is one minute door-to-door for hinges and cylindrical or mortise locks:
ON-2010 - Door Feeder & Rotator
The ON-2010 feeds doors into the Alliance door processing system. A sophisticated Schmalz vacuum system self adjusts for flush or panel doors up to 2-1/4” to 4’x 10, and weighing up to 300lbs. Available options include a bar code scanner for door ends, dual door stack feeding and automatic door rotation for swing.
 
Auto-Feed Face - Face Routing & Drilling
The KVAL Auto-feed Face is a computer-controlled router and drill for mortise lock function holes, viewers and routed pockets necessary for exit devices and card locks. The machine features four high frequency routers, two mounted above the door and two below. All holes larger than 3/8” are routed either into the door face for half holes, or through both sides for through holes, with the bits almost touching in the middle of the bore. This eliminates any danger of tear-out on the door face.
 
Architect-DI DM II - Mortise Hinge & DM Locks
Kval’s Architect di DM II is both a hinge and deep mortise lock processor. In less than sixty seconds door to door, this station routs, pre-drills and corner squares up to four hinge pockets. When required, it also simultaneously routs the lock side with a 10HP high frequency router using a 1” solid carbide bit, for deep pocket locks. All motions are now fully CNC including each pre-drill hole location and hinge pocket depths
 
Auto-Feed Edge STS - Edge Door Mortising
The Edge STS completes any boring and mortising required on the lock edge of the door. Machining heads optionally include four corner square chisels, 1” bore for 161 preps, with two three heavy duty 7-1/2 HP high frequency routers - one set-up as counter rotating head to eliminate chipping the door face. An additional 10HP router is provided with a solid 13/16” carbide tool for mortise pockets smaller than 1” in width. Corner square chisels and pre-drill for screws are available options.
 
DL-NCC -  CNC Door Light Cut-Out with auto corner squaring
KVAL's DL-NCC Numerically-Controlled Door Light Cut-Out Machine is designed to rout lock face holes, viewer holes, and lights in doors made of fiberglass, steel or wood. Features include automatic door positioning and routing cycle for lock face holes and door light cutouts.  Automatic corner squaring is now an option.
 
RAIL STS - Door Stacker End detail routers & drills
The Rail STS is a  double sided end work station and automatic stacker. Both end work carriages feature two 7-1/2 HP HF routers, one of which is counter rotating for arm clearance cuts. A deep drill head bores flush bolt rod holes as deep as 12”. Corner square chisels are an available option. Door ends are processed simultaneously for all end work details including flush bolts, closures, holders, pivots, sweep cut-outs and more.
