KVAL's Architect-di automatically positions, routes, and bores architectural doors for hinges and locks in about 45 seconds, door-to-door. This fast cycle time also includes drilling hinge screw holes for 4-1/2" pockets and lever lock screw holes with the optional drill cartridge system.

The "di" after the Architect's name refers to digital integration. The Windows-based computer system and 10 servo drives are integrated into the Architect-di to vastly reduce set-up times and eliminate errors. All of the adjustments listed below are now fully automatic and all of them are accomplished simultaneously in under 10 seconds.
