The KVAL Face is a computer-controlled router and drill for mortise lock function holes, viewers and routed pockets necessary for exit devices and card locks. The machine features four high frequency Perske routers, two mounted above the door and two below. All holes larger than 3/8” are routed either into the door face for half holes, or through both sides for through holes, with the bits almost touching in the middle of the bore. This eliminates any danger of tear-out on the door face.
